Bloomberg Markets Holiday Gift Guide
I was recently commissioned to photograph a portion of the Bloomberg Markets Holiday Gift Guide, and they had some fantastic items to shoot! Among them were a bamboo bicycle, Ferrari Hasselblad, awesome speakers, skis and boots, golf clubs, ceramic knives, and a Paul Reed Smith guitar! I want it all!
Tom Ford Beauty
I am honored and excited to have been a part of the global launch of the cosmetics line from Tom Ford Beauty! My images are appearing on the Tom Ford, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdorf Goodman websites, and in editorials and websites around the world. The products at the shoot were of supermodel status, and had to leave the studio to catch a flight to London! Many thanks to everyone at Tom Ford Beauty. Here are a few screenshots:

Parade Cover
I was honored to be asked to create a custom image of the American flag at half staff, for the 10th Anniversary of 9/11 cover of Parade magazine. It was an exciting shoot in late August on the roof of my new studio, and it involved Marines, a 20′ flagpole, a wind machine, and special effects. Many thanks to the illustrious photo director Miriam White-Lorentzen, and stylist extrordinaire Wendy Schelah!

I’m excited to have the cover of Nomad Editions BodySmart magazine this week! In case you haven’t already heard, Nomad Editions creates digital only magazines that look great on any screen. They have some masters of the publishing industry working there, such as the Design Director Roger Black and Director of Photography Laurie Kratochvil, among many others. JCK – The Best of Times

Bloomberg Markets – Rare Earth Materials
A couple of months ago I did a shoot for Bloomberg Markets magazine on rare earth materials, which are very much in the news these days. They are integral to many of the components used in the military, as well as in consumer devices, and the majority of the sources are controlled by China. The supplier assured us that these samples were all inert, nothing radioactive (thanks!), and I love some of their names, like Samarium and Yttrium.

Health – Power Cocktails
I have a fantastic double page spread in the current issue of Health magazine, for a story on Power Cocktails. Here’s the printed piece, and an alternate we also liked. JCK – The Ice Storm
I recently had the pleasure to work on a beautiful diamond story for JCK magazine, with creative director Robert Newman, photo editor Emma Hopson, and stylist Brooke Magnaghi. We had a fantastic assortment of incredibly intricate and beautiful diamonds to work with, and not one, but two guards to keep it all secure!
The Fix is in! (The 400 Calorie Fix, that is…)
The 400 Calorie Fix is a cookbook and weight loss program I photographed during July and August of last summer, and it is hot off the press! It was a great job, and thanks to the excellent crew, it was also great big fun! A special thanks to Jill Armus and Rebecca Simpson Steele, the very creative and inspiring team from Prevention; Cyd Raftus McDowell, the amazingly talented (and fast) food stylist; Cindy DiPrima and Phillip Shubin, prop stylists extraordinaire; and the digital mastery of Claire Benoist and Maia Landau!
